Reality

Everyone live by following what they believe, and it is called the reality. Although reality is a very, rather important "term" in our life that we often make our decision based on this reality, reality is actually a very vague word.

Everyone have their own reality, sometimes, it can be a total illusion. What we think/believe might be a fact, a reality, a truth to us, but to others, it might not be in the same case. Example, if we think that someone is angry at our certain behavior, we might feel uncomfortable with that person, but that someone might really aren't angry at all. So, in this case, the thought that we believe is truth in some way, turned into illusion.

That is why we must not too quick to make decision and to label others. It is wiser too try and find out the "reality"look at the problem from just our own perspective, and to hate someone's behavior instead of the person itself.

Got this idea from Naruto Shippundden manga~~

Proverbs on friendship

Proverbs on friendship
There are "friends" who pretend to be friends, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Proverb 18:24

Self

Acknowledge who we actually are and the weaknesses and our strength, is probably the most important thing to grow. However, human, sometimes will just feel bad when they know they have weakness that can't seems to be overcome.

Weaknesses that people critique, weaknesses that people laugh at, and people like to pull you down with weaknesses you have.

However, despite all these, when one ready to face his/her weaknesses and strengthen his/her strength, he/she will grow stronger in person. When he/she able to face those critique and accept them, he/she is growing.

Friends are those who usually help us to grow. Friends are always the one that pin point out our mistake without labeling us.

Death

Death, a topic that most of us dare not speak of, especially among Chinese, those older generation. Death, a topic that usually bring only sorrows and suffering.
Death, a topic that most of our human race try to escape from.

However, despite how we think of it, death will always be there. I remember one of my friends said this "We are living to die". In a way, yes, we are living to die one day.

This morning, someone that I know, died. Back to heavenly father leaving his family behind. I got this message after playing basketball with my mei and her bro. Shocked, and... somehow, sad? He isn't close to me yet I know him and we have talked before. He is one of my church member but we seldom talk. He is someone that always sit behind and leave alone. He is 30/40 plus... I only get to see him in Sunday Service but never really have a deep conversation with him... Appreciation... We don't have much bond with us but I still feel... Not sure how to explain this but its something I didn't experience before.

He died of heart failure I suppose. Haven't got a full detail from his family yet. His heart stopped for 9 times in a day and was saved by Lord 9 times. However, I guess it is time for him, Lord wants him back into His Kingdom.

I've learn something this morning, appreciate those who are close to you; life is like a book, how thick is it doesn't matter, the content in it matters; serve others while we can; and, if you need to see a doctor, go!

Sleep well my dear brother in Christ.

Influence and friends

DBSK, SUJU, BIG BANG, FT ISLAND...

Just now when I was eating dinner, I saw this DBSK concert in China on tv, which suddenly made me "high" in emotional for some weird reason. This made me to realize, since when I consciously admit/know that I like listening to their song? Since when I listen to them like everyday? Since when I got this weird "highness" in my heart when I see them?

Can it because the influences from my Uni friends? Can it because my other friends that like to bombard me with their news and songs?

I like music in general, but for bands to make me "high" because of their songs? I really wondering about that.

However, despite these messy thought, I really do enjoy listening to their songs and actually like them, so, why not accept it and go on with it~

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Friends
Suddenly I thought of this questions. After 2 days of happiness and joyfulness, I've experience that friends can be a blessing if they were really true to you. Thank God I have these friends already in my life and will continually serving them every second I live on earth.

I am someone that can be influenced easily, so, for me to actually met them who only bring positive influence is kind of a blessing!

Then here comes a question, what if my friends did something wrong? Maybe it is not really big, but, fault is a fault right? Can I forgive him/her? How would I going to face him/her? Deal with the problem?

Someone once told me, criticize on the doer's action and not the doer him/herself. It basically means if someone did something that we do not like, try not to judge that person, judge the attitude/action instead.

Doing so is, well, kinda of tough isn't it? Yea, so, trying to do my best to correct myself~ hohoho!
Isn't it interesting that human have all kind of different thought? Well, to me it is~ That is why I study psych, able to understand minds, and of course, be able to accept who they are too!

Weekend

Good weekend!
What can I say more? Friday went swimming with Mika, Ling and Mun jie; Saturday I was sharing on a relationship topic -Honoring one another/Listening skills-; Sunday, my church friends kind of celebrated my early birthday at Sushi Zanmai@Sunway Pyramid!

Friday
First time swimming with these three and it was rather fun! Although at first it was kind of pressured because Mika and Mun Jie can swim well and they were saying things like "Swimming is like breathing" "Its their(Mun Jie) second nature" and stuff. I was like huh? Why I still don't know how to swim well geh~~ Sob Sob~~~ However, thank God I got to learn how to float on the water~~ hehehehe~ But regardless of all those feeling, I enjoyed it I really hope to go swimming with them again~~ Free lesson a~~ And, Ling finally dare to go into water d!! YAY~~ hehe! Had fun with her toooooo~ =P

Saturday
Fuu! The previous time wasn't so panic! Maybe because the previous time I was sharing for the sake of sharing. Didn't put much effort in preparing my speech. This time, however, being encouraged by someone(don't bother to guess a!), I wanted to try my best and actually put a lot of effort in preparing it. Due to the last two sharing, which is a total disaster as well, BoonHan/Gorgan is known as boring, lack of communication skills, monotone, difficulties in expressing emotionally, verbally and physically(body language), I screwed up those two sharing. Though they might get my messages (I've asked them), but I know screwed up la. Which de-motivated me to continue.

This time, panic attack happen again too, at the beginning that is. However, after 10min, a group discussion, I prayed and hold the mic, walk around, think of Dr. Goh, think of Mr. Franklin, think of Ms. Winnie, think of Jasmine (Yea~ the DBSK fangirl), and think of Aaron (Yea... that Aaron...), one thing in common, they all seems to enjoy sharing and talking on the stage!!! Then what happen? I started to forget myself, forget my formality, forget my "shyness", forget my bad vocab in language and just speak from my heart! Guess what, everything worked out great!!! (Ah~~ finally, after so many semester since I completed my PDS in Foundation, this is the first time I am satisfied with myself, I found back the PDS BoonHAN~!! Except for the THINGY thingy hehe) I am able to make DIRECT eye contact with them. Look at their expression without fear. Thus, it really made me know what are they thinking at that time. Whether they are confuse or not. *heart heart*

Finally I have the passion to serve as a speaker on stage! Without His guidance at THAT moment, I think I will screw up this sharing as well. =P

Sunday
HOHOHO~ Got two prezzie from my teachers and my friends. Teacher gave a book, very INTERESTING book! Love it a lot! Its about some life topic like, teenager(my children ==""), kids(my children also ==), about anger, about friendship, about spouse. Nice~ all in list form, it means, NO LONG VERBOSE PARA! hehe.

Got a new sling bag from my friends~ Thx someone for your effort =P =X(No guessing here too =="). Love it a lot. Thinking of buying a backpack geh, but since they bought me this bag... I will still going to buy a backpack~~ LALALA~ =P I like the design and colour~ hehehe

Then we went to Sushi Zanmai at Sunway Pyramid to have our lunch~ Haih, no surprise for me this year~ *shake hand* Biasa-dah~ But really thank them for eating with me la, the sincerity count~ ^^"

What a night

Another service in City Harvest Church! The last time when I went to this Friends night, it was alright because its nothing too different from my church. As in, what we did there is a typical concert-ish of activities. This time, however, because it is a sermon and a service, they did it like the actual services on Sunday which, I have heard and known about it. Worshiping/ singing section is longer than preaching section. Speaking in tongues too. *nod nod*

Watched it in cds but didn't know EXPERIENCING it real time is, er... ha... *nod nod and smile*

The preaching from Pastor Kong is some what powerful though. To be frankly, the only time i felt comfortable is when they included BIBLE in. =3=

Back to Pastor Kong's preaching, its about shame (a.k.a SINS). I believe, what he said was extremely true; We have basically three different kinda SHAME, and the way to confronting them are through the Lord, Jesus and giving all these shame burden to him. However, I personally think that before doing so, we must seek for forgiveness from God first no? Since we have sinned, without admitting our sins and ask forgiveness from God? I am sure after we confessed them He will surely forgive us and tada~ forgiven we are and we will be able to face our SHAME.

Bible verses on FORGIVENESS Psalm: 51. I like this chapter as it is my weapon to attack Satan's accusation and my shame on my what I have done that doesn't glorify God.

Psalm 51

For the director of music. A psalm of David. When the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba.
1 Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.

2 Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.

4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight,
so that you are proved right when you speak
and justified when you judge.

5 Surely I was sinful at birth,
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

6 Surely you desire truth in the inner parts [a] ;
you teach [b] me wisdom in the inmost place.

7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones you have crushed rejoice.

9 Hide your face from my sins
and blot out all my iniquity.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
and sinners will turn back to you.

14 Save me from bloodguilt, O God,
the God who saves me,
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.

15 O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth will declare your praise.

16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.

17 The sacrifices of God are [c] a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart,
O God, you will not despise.

18 In your good pleasure make Zion prosper;
build up the walls of Jerusalem.

19 Then there will be righteous sacrifices,
whole burnt offerings to delight you;
then bulls will be offered on your altar.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
